    • The County Bred and Fed class will be an additional class held at the end of the show. All animals nominated for the county bred and fed class must be entered and shown in their market class throughout the day. Only animals bred, born and raised by the 4-H or FFA member or sold to a Saunders County 4-H or FFA member by a county resident producer are eligible for this class. Nominations/Entries for the County Bred and Fed class must be made at the time of County Fair Entries (July 1). There will be a $5 nomination fee per animal (limit one animal per exhibitor per species) payable at weigh in during the fair. Nomination forms will also be completed at this time. Proceeds from this class will go to the building improvement fund managed by the Saunders County Ag Society.

      Entries in the County Bred and Fed class will receive ribbon placings (purple, blue, red, white) with the Champion County Bred and Fed animal receiving a specially designed rosette. Stall banners will be presented to the champion exhibitor and are available for the exhibitor to purchase at the end of the fair. Division of classes will be based on number of entries and managed by show superintendents.
